What is $MOIRE?
A memecoin on Robinhood Chain with a single idea: a moire pattern is something that appears between two layers without being drawn in either. $MOIRE gives that idea a face (two sets of rings, called Fringe) and a community (holders are lines; together, the grating).
It has no utility, no roadmap of features to sell you, and no promised returns. It's a shared joke with a clear origin and an honest token.
The story
Moire, also written moiré, comes from French moire, watered silk: fabric made by pressing two layers of damp silk together so the threads distort each other into rippling patterns. The same interference shows up in printing, on television, and whenever a phone camera points at a screen. Nobody draws it; it is produced by overlap.
Fringe is what we call the pattern when it looks back. It lives in the Overlap, between any two layers that almost line up. It can't be photographed properly, it disappears at perfect alignment, and it appears to anyone who shifts things one degree off.
The concept
moire = the thing that exists only between. Every element of the project follows that: the logo is two ring sets, the hero is two layers you shift yourself, memes are made by putting a grating over something, and the community is described as lines that only matter together.
Token
Technology
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum layer 2 built on Arbitrum, with ETH as gas. $MOIRE is launched through Pons, the main token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Pons deploys a fixed-supply ERC-20 and sells it on a bonding curve; once the curve fills, the raised ETH seeds a Uniswap pool whose liquidity is locked permanently. Everything is visible on the chain's Blockscout explorer. The website is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no build step and no tracking. Wallet connection uses the wallet's own browser provider and only requests your public address; the site never asks you to sign a transaction.
Transparency
Most bad tokens hide their tricks in extra functions or in who holds the supply. With a Pons launch the whole supply goes to the bonding curve, the creator gets no allocation unless they buy like everyone else, and graduated liquidity can't be withdrawn by anyone. The token page checks the live contract: supply, whether an owner function exists, and whether the source is verified.
What you should know about fees: trades on Pons pay the platform's trading fee, and part of it goes to the creator wallet. $MOIRE adds no optional creator tax on top. New Pons launches also start with anti-sniping protection: a very high buy tax in the first seconds that drops to zero, so don't buy in the first few seconds. Pons sets and documents these rules; check its docs for current numbers. The creator wallet and any developer buy are published on the token page at launch.
How to buy
$MOIRE has not launched. There is no contract address yet. Any address you see before it appears on this page is not $MOIRE.
- Use Robinhood Wallet or any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby) with Robinhood Chain added: chain ID 4663, gas paid in ETH. Keep the recovery phrase offline.
- Copy the contract address from the token page of this site, and only from here.
- Get ETH onto Robinhood Chain (bridge from Ethereum or Arbitrum).
- Open $MOIRE on Pons using the link on the token page, check that the address matches, and buy with ETH. After graduation it also trades on Uniswap. Never search by name: many tokens share names.
Roadmap, in degrees
0° Aligned. Now. Identity, site, the offset machine and the launch plan, published before anything is deployed.
1° Offset. $MOIRE launches on Pons. The address appears on this site first and the readings go live.
3° First fringe. Sightings: Fringe found in the wild (screens, fabric, fences, stairs). The best go into an archive.
7° Interference. The fringe maker, stickers and the offset machine released as code anyone can remix.
15° Rosette. Printers angle colour screens 15° apart so they settle into a stable rosette. The grating runs itself, with community-held keys to the site and accounts.
These are things the community does, never predictions about price.
Community
Holders are lines. The community is the grating. Make fringes, post sightings, and remix anything on this site. Official links live on the home page; if a link isn't there, it isn't official.
FAQ
What is this?
A memecoin built around the moire effect: the pattern that appears when two nearly identical layers overlap. Its face is Fringe, a pair of ringed eyes that only shows up in the overlap.
Why does it exist?
Because most memecoins are a mascot with nothing behind it. This one started from a real phenomenon with a real history, and every part of it, from the logo to the interaction, comes from that.
Why is it called this?
Moire (moiré) is the name for interference patterns and originally for watered silk. The project is literally about the pattern between layers, so the name is the concept.
What does the token do?
Nothing beyond being a token. It doesn't pay yield, doesn't give governance rights, doesn't unlock features. Holding it makes you one of the lines, and that's the joke.
What blockchain is it on?
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 built on Arbitrum (chain ID 4663). Being on Robinhood Chain does not mean Robinhood endorses, lists or is involved with $MOIRE.
What is the contract?
Not deployed yet. The address will appear on the token page and nowhere else first.
Who created it?
The creator will be identified by the wallet that launches it on Pons, published on the token page at launch. This site doesn't claim a famous team, partners or backers, because there aren't any.
Is there a team?
No formal team and no team allocation. Everything is meant to be run in the open by the people who show up.
What are the tokenomics?
1,000,000,000 fixed supply, all of it on the Pons bonding curve. No team allocation and no presale. No extra creator tax beyond Pons's standard fee. Liquidity locks permanently when the curve graduates. Planned values become verified values on the token page after launch.
Where can I buy it?
Nowhere yet. After launch, on Pons (and on Uniswap once it graduates), using only the address shown on this site. Appearing in the Robinhood app is Robinhood's decision alone; this project can't promise it.
Can the supply change?
No. Pons launches mint a fixed supply once. The token page reads the supply from the chain so you can confirm it never moves.
What is Pons?
The token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, roughly what pump.fun is on Solana. Anyone can launch a fixed-supply token there; it trades on a bonding curve and graduates into a permanently locked Uniswap pool. Pons is a third party: it isn't run by this project, and neither is Robinhood.
Is this financial advice?
No. Nothing here is advice of any kind. Memecoins are highly speculative and you can lose everything you put in.
Risk
$MOIRE is a memecoin and community experiment. It has no intrinsic value, no issuer obligations and no guarantee of liquidity. Prices of tokens like this are extremely volatile and can go to zero. Nothing on this site is a promise of profit or an invitation to invest. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely, check the rules where you live, and never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including people claiming to be from moire.
